The Hatch Squat Cycle is a great strength program for intermediate and advanced weightlifters looking to get their squat numbers up. This challenging, 12-week squat cycle was developed by Olympic weightlifting coach Gayle Hatch. Please note that this program is physically demanding. If you are a new CrossFitter or new at lifting weights, you should take things light focusing on form and technique. These athletes will likely not have their BS or FS numbers either. If that is you, don't worry, you will be following the same rep scheme and using a challenging yet workable weight.
Day 2 of Program
Given the intensity of this program, we have run it in the past successfully (PR's all around) doing it just one day/week. We will be giving folks the option of 2 days, but it will be performed as Extra Work on Fridays. You MUST keep in mind on Day 2 that it is the end of the week and will be done in combination with a complimentary Deadlift day.
