Strength and Met-Con all in one. Today is a 30:00 Every Minute On the Minute.Your strength will build you to the scorable portions of the day.We have a lot of hip hinging on deck. Be sure to do the mobility and scorpions in the warm-up
- 5 sets of 3 reps. This won't be a 3 Rep Max kind of day. Work to about 70% of your 1RM
- Sumo Deadlift
- Same notes as above
- Sumo Deadlift High Pull
- Build to a heavy set. No score taken so be smart
- The idea behind this is to make the barbell feel light for the next section of SDLHP.
- Scorable piece will be decreasing weight and doing As Many Reps as Possible in 0:30 (5 rounds)
- Kettlebell Swing
- 5 reps as quick as possible. Try to move the KB instead of the KB moving you on the way down
- Scorable piece will be moving down in weight and doing As Many Reps as Possible in 0:30 (5 rounds)
- Down Ups
- Before doing max reps of KBS, you will do down, ups. Make sure you are jumping to full extension at the top.
