This is a great build to work toward a heavier Snatch.
- be sure to BUILD toward 80% here. You should take at least the first 5:00 to get some good snappy reps under your belt.
- Heaving Snatch Balance
- You might have to strip a little weight off for your first sets. We want you to be able to drop right under the bar.
- Snatch Pull
- Snatch pulls are a great tool to practice lifting max loads from the ground with proper form. Patience from the ground to the hang. Explosion from the hang keeping the weight in the heels as long as possible. A violent extension straight up toward the ceiling, then drop the bar.
- After going through this drill work, going back to the full snatch should feel good! Use this time to work to a heavy 1RM if you are feeling good!
